'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden significant trophy of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would seriously contemplate prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
