Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been won on hard surfaces
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev secured his initial title for over two years with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has had a challenging year, managing just a single victory at the big events and undergoing a setback at the New York tournament.
His inconsistency on the professional circuit - and struggles with his serving in particular - led to him dropping out of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with long-term trainer Cervara.
Now training with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily improved in the last few weeks - peaking in a closely contested three-set triumph over challenger Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from spring of that year.
The win also signifies Medvedev has secured twenty-one victories at 21 different competitions.
"For the first time I have attended a tournament with my children at once, so to get a title is especially meaningful," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my second daughter Victoria, because the maiden victory I won when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his past six championship matches, including in that event in the past months.
Medvedev's counter-punching approach and frequent outbursts on the playing surface had led some to question if his ability to perform at the elite level was finished.
But the athlete has altered his approach in the last few weeks, making an effort to come to the net and play assertively, backed up by an enhanced serving game.
He recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the tricky Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
The competitors swapped break points in the following set before the Frenchman, bidding for his first tour victory, gained dominance to force a decider.
The opponent defended 4 early-game chances in a tight deciding set before the champion broke to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev secured the title with a point at the net, with his opponent unable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
