300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, enough for 10)

Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed ingredients inside a pan, bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to cool entirely. Decant into an sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour the specified spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through preferably using muslin, making it perfectly clear.
To serve: Measure 85ml of your batch mix into your stirring glass packed with ice, and agitate lightly for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
